Teachers spend an average of 12 hours per week generating instructional materials.

Good high-quality materials allow for coherence for rigorous learning to have students be excited by what's going on in the world and placing it into a context that is real and meaningful for them.

That creates a more flexible thinking adult, and that's what teaching is all about: finding that voice and giving them skills in order to help change the world.

My name is Steve, and I've been an educator for 14 years and I believe that materials matter.
